Avocado chocolate pudding

WP_20140624_12_09_43_ProA few days ago, a friend of mine posted on Facebook a recipe for a lactose-free, gluten-free chocolate pudding. The ingredients piqued my interest, and since I had all of them in the pantry, I tried to make a batch. I made a few changes to eliminate unnecessary calories and the results were great.

Ingredients:

2 ripe avocados

3 dates (soaked in warm water for a few minutes)

1/3 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup maple syrup

How to prepare the chocolate pudding:

Put all the ingredients in the blender and let it purée until you obtain a smooth cream. Refrigerate for an hour (or not—I ate it straight from the blender) and serve with fresh fruits. Enjoy.

    1. I think it’s a great way to use ripe avocados when you want something sweet and want to feel good about it 🙂 I made two batches because I had friends over and it was very well received. Let me know if you try it!

You make a very good “different” kind of sweetnesses, I enjoyed your proposals and I’d like to taste this too!
    Thanks for the tip 🙂
