The oil version of yesterday’s drawing is prettier than the original, but it was more difficult to find the right words for it. I wrote several texts for this image, but all of them were too serious for a fairytale script. I finally settled for this one. See you in a month or so (Nanowrimo starts in two days.)
In twelve years living in the Northwest I’ve never experienced a Fall as beautiful as this one. The warmth and the quality of the light remind me of the Italian Autumns of my youth and those afternoons when I spent hours playing outside with my friends inventing stories…

Worked with Paint.NET on my most recent Monday drawing to create a new fairytale prompt. Lately, the editing of Prince is taking all my time and energies, and drawing helps me direct my mind somewhere else. Despite the fact that yesterday drawing was messy, there’s something about the colors and the composition I like. Changed both light and saturation, and finally I applied the ink sketch and photo filters, plus text.
