Today, I wished I could call a friend of mine and talk to her.
Volare
Made a few changes on an earlier and much simpler version of the drawing I published yesterday. Just Paint.NET: ink sketch filter, plus title.
I started this drawing yesterday, but it wasn’t as psychedelic as it turned out to be after I went into a color-frenzy today. I did have some spicy Indian food for lunch. Coincidence?
What’s the story behind this drawing and the words that come with it? And what about the riddle? Have fun!
Alessandro Fiorini and I have thought of starting something called Monday Drawings. It’s our way to stay focused and post at least one drawing a week. In truth, Alessandro doesn’t need any reminder to put his Wacom tablet to good use, but I do. Monday Drawings is open to anybody who wants to join the club.

Calming Blue
I used Artrage and my Wacom tablet to paint Calming Blue, then I changed its color contrast and applied the ink filter.
Today I had a busy day doing little. It happens to the best of us. I should mention that it hasn’t rained so far, that should explain it all. But I went for a long walk with my loyal beagle, Nero, and I played with Artrage . This new piece was inspired by the words of one talented Positively Wyrde, the enchanting Bard from Twitter.
